Update

The day after Evey got home from the hospital we had some visitors. This time around it was my Grandma Berg, Tricia, and Stacie. Things were pretty low key because Evey was still recovering but we had fun watching movies, playing games, and talking. Both girls loved to cuddle with Grandma. The few days after they had left the girls still called out, "Grandma Berg-- where are you?"

This time of year the weather is perfect. We spend a lot of time outside. Mae LOVES sidewalk chalk, digging in the rocks, and swinging. Evey loves putting her feet in the pool (the water is now too cold for swimming) and playing on the slide.

 

Evey's school had a boosterthon fun run last week to raise money for the school's technology. Mae and I were able to go cheer her on. It was great to see Evey with her friends and having so much fun. She ran (and walked) a total of 22 laps (16 laps = 1 mile). It was AWESOME!
