Playing with their dinner

We tried a new food a few weeks ago-- crayfish (crawfish or crawdads). The girls liked it because it tasted like shrimp but they thought the best part was playing with the little guys.

Mae's little friend has Leukemia and is in the process of a bone marrow transplant. We do our best to cheer her up with little notes, pictures, and gifts. Both girls also show their support by wearing "STRENGTH TO OVERCOME" shirts.

Evey is becoming quite the athlete. Add soccer to the list of sports she enjoys. Every week we meet with a group of other special needs kids to play soccer. They even let Lincoln, Mae, and me play. We have a blast!
This picture was from one of the days we had a local club team practice with us.No one is smiling because everyone is exhausted. This picture cracks me up.
