This was the view from the condo we rented. It was right between Hell's Kitchen (believe me when I say we took full advantage of being on "Restaurant Row") and Time Square.
We braved the heat and humidity and walked Brooklyn Bridge one afternoon.
Fireworks on the 4th of July were a bust. It rained, was super crowded and our view wasn't great. The picture above was stolen from Google. I wish our view was this good...unfortunately we could only see about 1/10 of what is pictured.
In the background you can see the base of the new World Trade Center. Lincoln is standing in front of the 9/11 Memorial. It was awesome and sad at the same time.
One of the many cool churches we saw. I think this is the Trinity Church.
We ventured to Staten Island and this was our view of the city on our way back. I like NYC.
You might be a Seinfeld fan if this looks familiar. We didn't eat there though. Bad reviews.
Strolling through Central Park is kind of crazy. Huge buildings all around!
We didn't go in, but we walked by. Does that count?
This was on a path we took to The Cloisters (part of the MET).
Same as above. :)
Broadway show, Fiddler on the Roof. It was awesome!
Another church. It looked cool so we took a pic.
Gorgeous views from the top of Rockefeller Center.
Lincoln wanted to take pictures of the city rather than pose for a picture.
Queen's Museum has a huge panorama of the city.
Highline Trail. This might have been my favorite thing.
Midtown Comics. Lincoln was in heaven.
Our last stop was Yankee Stadium. We aren't fans but we needed to go into the Bronx to complete my goal of visiting all five NYC boroughs (Manhattan, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx).
